Description
Please keep in mind that it takes one skillful weaver at least five days to weave one of these parasisal hoods. There is only one factory left in the world that weave them. They are becoming very exclusive. We are striving to keep our quality high but we also believe that the people that weave such a wonderful hat do deserve more money. Please educate your customers so they can appreciate what they are getting. Their children will probably never see such quality. China is changing fast and many weavers quit to get better paying jobs. This is why I believe it is very important to pay them a better wage for the work they do.

Disclaimers
Colors will vary depending on your monitor and there will also be some variations due to dye lots. Natural hat bodies will be stiffer than dyed ones because the dying process softens the straw.
Parasisals are not guaranteed to be colorfast.
Straw hat bodies sometimes have frayed edges. This is considered normal for a hat body. Hat makers are expected to know how to finish the edge when they are making the ‘hat body’ into a ‘hat’. No credits or exchanges will ever be given for such an occurrence. If you don’t know how to finish an edge of a hat body, then may we suggest that you take some hat making classes before purchasing our capelines.
