Unblocked Hat Bodies are not hats, they are not shaped yet.
The crowns are larger and allow for diversity of designs.  Extra length of crown can be pulled into brim for larger brim size.  For example, Cavalier wide brim hats, or large sized pirate hats.
Question: What is white dust on wool felt?
Answer: The white dust you sometimes see on our wool felts is Shellac. It will dissolve when you steam and block your hat bodies into hats.
