This hat was originally designed by Mr. John, who by the way also did the hats for the movie "Gone With The Wind" and he was the first who put a shoulder strap on a purse. He also put soles on ballet shoes so they could be worn outside. He was an amazing designer. These hats have been our BEST SELLING hats for 16 years.
They are made from our fine parasisal hoods that take 5 days to hand weave! Remember that they are hand made and each one varies because each parasisal hood is hand weaved and each one varies. Some weavers weave a little tighter than others. It is also a natural fiber and it varies from hat to hat. The first time I ever saw a travel hat it was on the counter at Neiman Marcus and it was selling for $250.00 USD! |
