| All our Brims are made of quality hardwood made to last generations. Hardwood is used primarily by the industry because it will handle push pins and veiling pins without creating holes with repeated use, unlike soft pine which will splinter or hard plastic where you can't use pins at all to secure and stretch felt and straw. |
| Unless otherwise specified brims measure approximately 3" from headsize to welt. In-stock brims have a headsize of 22 1/2" . Of course, you can specify the headsize and width that you want.
*Please note: Size is measured from headsize to welt along the brim.
*Please note: Combination brims are based on 3" Sailor, with the second brim size unspecified, although it will always be larger than the Sailor side. One headsize plate is provided with each brim, but only one headsize plate is provided for the combination brim. |
